Where can you help?

Activities NL Cares

NL Cares is in full swing in Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht. Normally NL Cares connects people from diverse backgrounds through community engagement and flexible volunteering. Due to the corona virus we temporarily cannot provide real life encounters.

In these turbulent times it is more then ever important to register as a volunteer. We would love to present you with new creative alternatives during this period of time.

Do you have an idea to make a difference, or do you know an organization that can use the help of volunteers, please contact us at info@nlcares.nl.

If you are volunteering it is very important that you will observe the measures of the RIVM to prevent the virus from spreading (social distance, washing hands, coughing /sneezing in elbow).
PS. If you have a cold yourself (cough, sore throat, nose cold) and / or have a fever, we ask you to not participate in our activities.

Below you can find an overview of the activities that we offer or support.

Take a quick look and see where you can help!

Music is the key! We match musicians and residential care centers together and organize outdoor performances to bring a little distraction to the elderly in isolation. At an appropriate distance we cheer up the elderly together. We are still looking for musicians. Register now and send an email to info@nlcares.nl.

4G coffee break

We are hosting coffee meetings for elderly people. You can now do your bit to help lonely and socially isolated elderly people in your city and have a chat over Skype during a 4G coffee break. You can make a big difference in a lonely day.
