On this yearly night, around 80 volunteers in The Hague will be helping people in their city by giving them a fun night with company and personal attention. After the activity, from 20:30h all volunteers are welcome to have a drink and share experiences at Bleyenberg in the center. The Night of the Volunteer 2019 is made possible by Klaverblad Foundation and Fonds1818.
For many people with a physical or mental disability it is important to live independantly as much as possible. Contact with the outside world plays a vital role in this. During this evening you can meet the residents of the Olieberg. We will play different games together and off course we can chat and snack together!
The meeting centre and residence of Middin De Olieberg are beautifully situated on the boulevard of Scheveningen. The residence houses 23 people with a mild mental disability such as down syndrome and autism. The residents are aged 20 to 60 years old and live individually. Middin De Olieberg offers guidance and care 24 hours a day. The Olieberg features a meeting centre, or so called “trefpunt” which is very important for the residents. They come here to have a chat, a cup of coffee and they dine together every evening. Clients of other locations of Middin regularly visit the meeting centre.
The meeting centre of Middin de Olieberg is situated at Kompasstraat 41A in The Hague
